When you study arts you really don't know what the hell you do in the future, thats its the true but at the same time you go to the class every day with the hope you find the answer of a question: What are in my future?...   It is a very difficult question and one of these things you don't wanna think  at all because for me is enough with the people who says: Hey! what you gonna do to work? Are you a Painter, you gonna be a teacher of that? I don't know how you study something like that, without future!  Seriously the "future" in my mind there not exist... for my mental health just blocked in my brain. For another part i try to work to make something with the formation to wet in this university so a take subjects or courses to give me a chance to get a gob like restorations or cultural management and in parallel make my own work as an artist. I know sounds like "only grey clouds in the future of artist" but at the end of the day I see my work and al...

I have 3 pets in mi home, the first and most old is the cat call Lucrecia, she come to mi home when is very young and is a child from mi neighbor cats, the have so many cats always... so I thing she just see the best opportunity of life in mi house... at first I see her in mi roof so skinny!!! :C so I give milk once time, at the next day she come back, and the next... and the next so at the end mi mom said: "that cat is from here now... with will be her name?" i see the calendar and that day it was Saint Lucrecia.  Lucrecia in the room The time past and Lucrecia made her life... and suddenly she was pregnant, from 12 cats! I personally give the little cats to houses of all Santiago, except for one the cats who no one wants better for us because is the most cool cat in the universe Robusto. The best concert ever is from the Icelander singer Björk in 2007. I was just a teenager and I really love Björk!! In that time I don't have a job and much less money to pay the pass, so very soon leave the idea to get the tickets... 💔😭 I remember the songs from mi first years of Björk in my life y fell nostalgia now. It was just to sad nows there one of mi favorite artist plays my favorites song in mi city and probably I miss that!! But thanks to my good fortune mi sister works in a UC football club (in a office, not play football), later announce there San Carlos stadium Bjork play their concert. I beg to mi sister and she told me: "I ask but the say NO, sorry..."  the day after the concert she give to me two tickets in a very close area!!! she lie for give a surprise... I call to my best friend who I listen Björk in break of school in MP3 with one headphone. She cry. 

There is so many places to like visit, but in the top of the list is France! I like very much the mediterranean sea, the blue coast and french riviera. Another thing i like from french people is the architecture like the palaces, museums and medieval castles. The south of France have all the things and its just beautiful also I believe the mediterranean weather its perfect for me. 😎😎😎 The most interesting place for me is the region called Normandia, this a region of contrast between the nature, his amazing places and the medieval constructions like Mont Saint Michel or Rouen .  Its look like a set of " The lord of the ring " movie. I now all this about France because in the school i learn the French language and one part of the class it was about the culture of France, from there i dream with now it.  In the future i hope to now this amazing places and maybe work in medieval tapestry restoration in a medieval monastery just lost in the middle of nowhere. ...

If i really could be someone else would be a Millionaire, not for money (ok, for the money), but also just because they just they have no worries!! Imagine a life without stress where you have the power to solve life without so much effort and dedicate yourself to travel and what you can think of... it would be amazing. And if you are a little boring just take you private jet and go to another extreme of the word for drink wine in France or just do ski in the Swiss Alps in the same day with I don't now... Donatella Versace o Cher. 😆😆😆 If i really have all this money (10000 billions) obviously do something for help to another. Arts school, food free, hospital and things that help people to live much better. But the important is, the money is just something so overrated, and  its true, in a capitalist society without money you can live... i think there is others ways to make it. Its more difficult but while I'm not a billionaire it will keep me busy. ...

This semester really enjoy learn about Esthetic, specially how the artistic production is treated. Talk about the creations and how your material must have a awareness for its development help me to be more critical with my own work. The  Esthetic study is about how yo make something and under specific judgment.  Another subject i enjoy is just human-figure-draw, its just amazing translate the lines that build a three-dimensional body, to a plane piece of paper... and the eye just translate it. I think I really enjoy learning. Now i just want learn to make some pieces of tapestry, and develop this technique patiently 😆😆😆😆😆😆.

The most important websites i used is mostly for information or inspiration. I don't have so many favorites websites now, but i have a some interesting pages about design and artist around the world.  Before use Instagram, I visit many websites, but now they are just in a forget bookmark inside mi computer 😥. The principal reason of that, is because now i follow the pages in Instagram and I just get the complete content in there.  Anyway, this websites still keep in my forget bookmark because they remember me there is so much more information besides Instagram, Facebook or anthers social media applications.  1-. My favourite movie of all time is "The colour of paradise" which is by an Iranian film director called Mayid Mayidí. The first time I saw this movie I just cried and not only  because of its moving story but also because it was beautifully made. Obviously, I will not tell you what the movie is about , but I recommend it to anybody who wants to see an excellent movie.  The director is Muslim, so according to their religion any representation of God's creation is forbidden. That makes a film (an the rest of the Muslim art) so complex. We are so accustomed to seeing another kind of the representation of nature, feelings and world. In Iranian films, the symbols are very important, and despite the fundamental restrictions , the movie gives us the opportunity to interpret it. And this act is magic for me.        

In the photograph you will see there are saints and religious figures, it was taken in the "hill of the Virgin" in Puente Alto, at the Viscachas sector . A long time ago I used to visit it, just because it has a beautiful view. It is a kind of San Cristobal hill but much smaller and local. The place of prayer contain where the virgin is a small sector on a side of the cave  and it is to leave the remains or vestiges of another figures  religious icons. I found it interesting that the people of the Catholic religion had a cemetery of images and broken saints, as if the truncated, disfigured, discoloured image or anything else did not serve as a representative of faith. Is it much less sacred if it does not meet a class of aesthetic value? ...    

The thing to most i love to do in mi free time is read and take pictures for a lot of things who happens around me. I become in a photographer (amateur by the way...), wen i have mi first camera at the age of 12. Mi mom just replace the old one for a new and she give to me. I remember when mom bribery me with photo roll if i made my homework. Now i become a collector of memories and i like the idea for " freeze a moment" and becoming in a digital memory.  I don't have so much time for made it right now, but i try to make constantly as i can. Also i like to read novels and informative texts about what interests me at the time ... (like textile stuff, for example), and made this with regularity because its part of the dairy life...  The photographers i like is: Tina Modotti , Tim Walkers , Robert Ballen , Mario Testino And another but i can't remember now.  😞  

  My favorite technological devices is a needle and a loom. In a lot of cultures, the works to mean the use of this technological devices is very important because in a textile work they put in the most symbolical word view. In the past, the precolonial people of south america they did  not have writing and all his cultural inheritance it was put on a textile piece. Mi first approach with the art it was in a secondary school when mi teacher Carla (she study art in this university to by the way), make  a art therapy curse, and mi head exploded. I just had discovered a hole word of colors, forms, sound, images, beauty and expression of virtuous people and i might make that too! that was so exciting for me, so i say to my self: my self, you must have that for live! (well  perhaps not). From that moment i knew it was the "job" i had to do. Right now i chose the specialize mi self in a textile arts, i love the textile language and his versatility, you can do anything with the technical knowledge that you learn in class. I this place i fell like if i was in a different dimension sometimes, but i like id.  

Hi, im Luis Burgos 27 years old and i was born in Argentina in the city called San Juan. Mi dad is from there and he's live in Buenos Aires city now.  I student Visual Arts in a Mayor university, but they close the program because we are so few (only 5), so that is not a good business. After i try to student Patrimonial Restoration but i don't like very much so i quit. Then i student Technician  in Graphical Design by two years, that was a terrible time because i really want finish mi Arts program. Finally i made a decision and i enrolled in Visual Arts in a University of Chile. I happy here now.  I like very much take pictures from a places to visit and weird stuff to find in a city for example also i like read. I always have a book with me. My cat "Robusto" is my favorite animal in hole word. I just love him.
